Long Dance for Teens

 

It is in youth that we discover the world, discover who we are and learn from life's experiences, and live what when we are older will be the source of our wisdom.

 

Inspired by Joseph Rael, “Beautiful Painted Arrow”, Long Dance, since 1980, brings together people willing to see their challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles in the way.

 

It is the first time that this Long Dance has been opened especially for Brazil to a group of teenagers and young people only, a blessing bestowed on Felicity Macdonald and her team by Beautiful Painted Arrow, as it is the right time for young people to participate in the change that want to see in your world today.

 

The world needs peace. Peace needs you. The world needs you young man

 

After a Purification Ceremony – INIPI, Temazcal or Tenda do Suor – the Dance begins, as the sun sets. And into the night, the dance develops to the sound of drums and the determined steps of the   dancers. This dance will take place in a beautiful place, on a sacred mountain, at night, under the stars and in a challenging time.
